Rhoda McDonough is the owner of Out of the Box Business Solutions, a company that provides bookkeeping services and efficiency consulting to a variety of businesses. You may ask what is “efficiency consulting”? Well, it is the organization of an office from filing cabinets to computer files, placement of furniture and office procedures. All this organization leads to efficient work flow and productivity.
Having previously owned 2 other businesses, Rhoda loves “the business of business”. As well as being a business owner, she has also worked for larger corporations in the areas of law and not for profit. In roles varying from Executive Assistant to Department Director, Rhoda began to notice that organization was essential to success regardless of the size or type of business.
Rhoda is passionate about sharing her 30 years of experience to increase productivity in the workplace. Productivity allows the business owner, the CEO, or the employee in a cramped cubicle more time for “the business of business”.
Currently, Rhoda provides workshops and individual consulting for a variety of businesses and organizations in Alberta. She loves to support both the new entrepreneur and the established business owner by providing them with a strong foundation of good organizational habits as well as accurate bookkeeping and office administrative services.
When Rhoda is not organizing files and entering numbers, she is dancing or taking candid photos of her family and friends. Her favourite moments are traveling with her husband and hugging her grandchildren.
