Charlene Butler

Charlene is the Founder and President of Butler Business Solutions Ltd.(BBS), a general management consulting company.  Charlene puts her 25 years of management experience to work assisting a wide variety of businesses with strategic business planning, evaluation framework development, non-financial risk management and organizational performance optimization.  “My MBA degree built on my Chemical Technology Diploma, BSc – Actuarial Science, and BComm – Insurance and Risk Management education and 25 years of management experience in the Petroleum Services and Insurance industries.  This combination of education and hands on experience ensures that BBS clients receive high quality, informed consulting services.”

Charlene volunteers at the Anderson Career Training Institute providing Risk Management instruction to individuals establishing their own businesses.  She is a member of the Glenora Rotary Club, Blue Goose – Edmonton Pond, Northern Alberta Risk and Insurance Management Society (past Program Director), REACH Edmonton, and NET Impact Member. Past affiliations include: member of the Grant MacEwan University advisory board, Chair of the Youth Emergency Shelter Society Homeless for a Night Event, member of Mayor’s Task Force for Community Safety.

Currently Charlene is a BAA Board Member, Chair of the BAA Dinner Committee and Co-chair of the Mentorship Committee.
