Our philosophy at Anderson Career Training Institute is simple – help individuals and organizations realize their potential through training, coaching and mentoring. Since 1996 we have helped over hundreds of individuals realize their dreams of becoming entrepreneurs and have inspired many to take control of their lives through our Personal and Professional Development Seminars.
Through its principle, Paul Anderson, the company has evolved from its beginnings as Anderson Risdon Associates (1989) to Anderson Consulting Associates (1991) to Anderson Consulting Associates Inc (1993). In 1998, the operating name Anderson Career Training Institute (ACTI) was adopted to position the company as a formal training Institute. Throughout this period, the Institute has maintained the philosophy that through training, coaching and mentoring individuals can realize their potential.
ACTI has grown from austere beginning in a small room in a community centre, to a home-based operation, to a converted office in a downtown hotel, to a small business-like office, to its current home, a 2600 square foot suite in west Edmonton.
Paul Anderson a born entrepreneur, has experienced both the upside and downside of being self-employed. As a partner in a restaurant and software development company, he has first hand knowledge about the challenges innate in a partnership and shares his wealth of knowledge with our students.
